What This Is

You built something people love. Now let's make it work for you too.

Running a yoga or fitness studio is two jobs at once. There's the practice you care about, and there's the business that keeps the lights on. Most studio owners are excellent at one and exhausted by the other.

These workshops exist for that second job. Across four focused evenings, we work through the operational and commercial decisions that shape whether a studio thrives or just survives.

Scheduling that fills rooms. Pricing that feels fair and works financially. Retention built on belonging, not lock-in clauses. Retail that earns without feeling like a boutique. And the handful of numbers that actually tell you what's working.

What We Cover

Each session addresses one operational domain. Together they form a complete picture of how a studio runs as a business.

Two Ways Studios Approach Business

The difference between reactive and intentional operations shows up in daily decisions. Here's what that contrast looks like in practice.

Reactive Operations

  • Schedule built around instructor availability, not room demand
  • Pricing set by gut feel or competitor copying
  • Attrition addressed with discount offers after members leave
  • Merchandise purchased in bulk, sits on shelves
  • Decisions made by feel rather than attendance data

Intentional Operations

  • Schedule designed around peak demand windows and room capacity
  • Pricing structured to guide member choices through framing
  • Retention built into the community experience from day one
  • Retail curated to match member identity and lifestyle
  • Regular review of class metrics informs timetable decisions

Who Attends

Built for owners who are already running something real

These workshops are designed for yoga studio owners, fitness studio owners, and boutique gym operators who have been in business long enough to have real questions. Not theoretical ones.

You've navigated your first year. You've seen members leave. You've wondered whether that Tuesday 7pm class is worth keeping. You've thought about selling branded water bottles but weren't sure where to start.

The sessions work best when participants bring their own context. Real schedules, real pricing questions, real retention challenges. The group format means you'll also hear how others in similar situations are thinking through the same problems.

The Format

Four evenings. Focused and practical.

Each session runs approximately two and a half hours. We keep groups intentionally small so there's room for real conversation about your specific situation. Sessions are held in the evening so you can run your studio during the day.

The structure is part presentation, part workshop. You'll work through exercises with your own studio's data in mind. Each evening ends with a set of actions you can take before the next session.
